Description: First autoloading shotgun produced in the U.S.A.
Dec 11, 2011 Model 1100 serial numbers (on the receiver) started with the number 1001. All but the early guns also have a prefix letter. All Model 1100 Remington shotguns were serial numbered in blocks of numbers. Each serial number has a suffix and the following indicates the meaning: V = 12ga. How can I look up the date of manufacture my the serial number on a 1100 s receiver? I have seen al over the web the barrel codes. But as we all know barrel are swapped like baseball cards. I want to know my receiver s date of birth. Outdoor Hub mobile, the outdoor information engine.
